Scott is Vice President of Structural Engineering for BALA and is a Partner in both our King of Prussia and New York offices. Scott oversees structural engineering in both offices and has over 20 years of experience in structural engineering and project management. He has executed many large and complex projects in steel, concrete, masonry and timber construction.  Scott’s work includes many complex commercial, housing, high-rise, adaptive reuse, warehouse, education, healthcare and retail facilities.  He leads structural design efforts through the initial concept phase by exploring various economical design options, and then directs the activities of the structural engineering team throughout the design and construction phases. 

Scott was awarded the American Institute of Steel Construction’s National Presidential Award for Engineering Excellence in 2006. He has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from the University of Delaware and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in 24 states.  Scott is a family man who enjoys coaching local sports for his children.
