This presentation takes a historical look at the evolution of the modern Data Center. It identifies the design requirements and component options available for a new Data Center designs vs. those utilized in Data Centers only a few years old. Topics include trends and issues in the modern Data Center, including cable plant, topologies, distribution, racking and support, and access floor management, converged and meshed networks housed in the Data Center, as well as the evolution and impact of these systems within the Modern Data Center. This presentation was given to a sold out crowd in Nashville, Tennessee.
