Rittenhouse Hotel

Established in 1989, this luxury hotel is situated in Philadelphia’s Financial District.  Hersha Hospitality took over ownership in 2012, and chose Bala to assist in several renovation projects for the 5-star hotel that included the pool, fitness center, salon, tearoom and new bar area in the lobby. 

Bala provided full mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services including documentation of additional guest suites and renovations to existing guest suites.  The pastry kitchen and chocolate lab were fully renovated with new support systems.  The spa salon and pool were also completely renovated including upgraded MEP systems.
