Ciarán is Bala’s Transportation Market Sector Leader. He works across all Bala’s offices to expand our work in transportation facilities. Ciarán is a leader in the design, management, and implementation of sustainable MEP systems. His engineering designs consider the impact of the MEP systems on the built environment as well as the planet. Ciarán is passionate about sustainability and enjoys working on high performance buildings. He is committed to helping our projects use renewable resources and systems that ultimately reduce their carbon impact on the planet. His past projects include facilities for the transportation, commercial, hospitality, and education markets.

Ciarán is from Dublin, Ireland, and began his engineering career in the UK and Middle East before moving to New York City over 10 years ago. Outside the office, Ciarán enjoys spending time with his kids, playing guitar, and watching (sometimes playing) all kinds of sports, particularly Gaelic Football where he is a huge supporter of his county, Dublin.
