Elizabeth is a Senior Sustainability Engineer at Bala. She completed her Master’s in Sustainable Engineering from Villanova University and has worked with Bala through the Villanova RISE Program. Elizabeth leads Bala's Sustainable Futures Group, a team of engineers who educate and research sustainability strategies and initiatives to help reduce the built environment's impact on climate change. She is passionate about designing projects that prioritize well-being, give back to the planet, and better serve our communities.
Elizabeth’s thesis, Healthy Building - Healthy People: How Implementing Healthy Building Strategies Benefits Your Organization from a Holistic Systems Perspective, presents enlightening data about health and the triple bottom line. She has a Civil and Environmental Engineering degree from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and studied abroad at Novia University of Applied Sciences in Vaasa, Finland.
