As mechanical department manager for Bala’s Philadelphia office, Jason is responsible for the daily operation of the mechanical group.  Jason and his group support the mechanical efforts across all Bala’s offices.  His group touches all of Bala’s major markets sectors.  Jason is well versed in leading the mechanical discipline on large and small scale projects.  He is a key technical resource and enjoys training the younger staff.  He specializes in HVAC systems engineering for mission critical, corporate office, high-end residential, historical building renovations and building infrastructure.  He has a passion for sustainability which carries into the group’s mechanical systems design process.  He is well versed in energy modeling for LEED, building energy optimization and life cycle cost analysis.  Notable projects include Prudential Data Center which achieved Uptime Tier 3 certification, Mill 19 Adaptive Re-use Development and The Free Library of Philadelphia Business Resource and Innovation Center.
