A vacant lot behind the historic Divine Lorraine Hotel, will eventually be home to a mixed-use development comprising of an apartment tower, retail, public plaza and parking garage. The project just recently broke ground in Fall 2018 and has already signed a contract for a grocery store and daycare center to move into the ground floor.
The 14-story building will have approximately 486 residential units on floors 4 through 14 varying between traditional apartments to micro-units. The building also has 151 dedicated retail parking spaces and a parking garage to accommodate residents.
There is also over 63,000 square feet dedicated to five new retail spaces in the ground floor of the development. Just recently Aldi and Noble Learning Communities signed a contract to join the space.
