2175 K Street

In order to modernize this office building, originally built in the 1980’s, 2175 K Street NW was completely renovated and 33,000 square feet were added to the top of the building raising the original 8 story building to 10 stories.

The renovation included new features including a glass facade, modernized interiors, new elevators, a green roof and a two-level underground parking garage. The building remained occupied on the 8 existing floors while the construction took place. Two floors have been added to the building and a new penthouse level was added to house new mechanical systems and elevator machines.
