An existing laboratory was converted into a dry laboratory to accommodate material research utilizing lithium. For safety reasons the space needs to be maintained no greater than 10% relative humidity.  A packaged, sealed system was installed, including desiccant dehumidification equipment and gaseous suppression system. The packaged room included an airlock to provide a buffer between the low relative humidity area and the surrounding laboratory spaces at normal relative humidity levels.
