This multinational management consulting firm renovated and expanded its Philadelphia office across two floors within 1735 Market Street.  The project consisted of a complete modernization of the offices and included new flexible workstations, collaboration spaces, a cafe, a multi-purpose room and a grand floating staircase between both floors with a Zen garden at the bottom.

The unique challenge for Bala's Structures Group was the removal of a significant portion of the floor construction and steel beams that braced the exterior steel columns on the 40th floor.  Once removed, an elegant monumental hollow structural tube stringer stair with steel and stone treads were installed to make the space pop.
