Located in the Old City, The Bridge is an award-winning, 18-story, mixed-use high-rise complete with high-end condominiums, street level retail and a 8,000 SF landscaped terrace with views of the Ben Franklin Bridge and Delaware River.
The Bridge stands as one of the tallest buildings in Old City. The project features 146 apartments (10% of which are affordable housing) and includes an 8,000 SF rooftop terrace, gym, co-working lounge, smartphone controlled thermostats, pet grooming room, car charging stations, street level restaurants, salons and retail space.
Bala’s team provided all the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for the $65 million project. Bala also helped The Bridge achieve it’s LEED Gold certification by providing LEED design and commissioning services for all mechanical, plumbing and fire protection needs in the building. The Bridge is the first LEED-Gold Luxury Apartment building in Philadelphia.
