The Graduate

Located on and previously owned by the University of Connecticut, the college recently sold the The Nathan Hale Inn to a boutique-style collegiate hotel operator for $8.3 million. The new hotel owner is rebranding and renovating the space now.  Bala was chosen to perform the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection services for the project.

The renovation of the 5-story hotel includes a new ground floor lobby, cafe and bar area, new restrooms, the demolition of the pool area and conversion into conference rooms, upgrades to all 98 rooms and the
addition of a grand ballroom.
