This 14-story residential tower consists of street level retail and suite style student housing on Temple University's campus.
The building was developed by The Goldenberg Group and has 238 apartments. Healthy building strategies include sustainable storm water management, and water-efficient landscaping, 30% reduction in water consumption and immersive recycling.
Three 65kW micro turbines were designed to provide power to the building and hot water for the domestic water system. The micro turbines were designed to run according to the load, and were also equipped with bypass capabilities to peak shave even when the domestic water load was absent. Due to project budget constraints this system was not constructed.
