Tangen Hall is the first-ever dedicated space for cross-campus student entrepreneurship at Penn.  Located at 40th and Sansom Streets, the building is nearly 70,000 SF and includes dozens of meeting and collaboration spaces, storefront retail space for student ventures, a test kitchen for food-centric startups, a Maker Lab, a Virtual Reality cave and cafe.

Mechanical systems consist of an air cooled VRF system throughout the facility with a DOAS (Dedicated Outside Air System) for ventilation.  Bala also provided the telecommunications cabling infrastructure and security designs throughout the spaces with cameras on the outside and inside of the building, as well as card readers in all secure areas.
