As a Vice President and Director of the Mechanical Department, Scott oversees the mechanical engineering for all office locations. He is well versed at managing multidisciplinary teams for complex laboratory and mission critical projects and is often called upon for his technical knowledge and expertise. Over his 30 years of experience, he has honed his skillset and focuses on research facilities, vivariums, pilot plants, clean rooms, BSL 2, 3, 4 spaces, data centers, NOC, emergency call centers, and manufacturing plants. Notable projects include: Amgen Filling Suite, Johnson Matthey WD 2, and continuing work with the NYC Emergency Response Center PSAC 1, which includes call center and data center spaces.
He is an accomplished presenter and is often called upon to conduct webinars showcasing his steep knowledge in mission critical environments. Scott also is in charge of integration between offices, trains staff to perform computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulations, and advises on human resource policy implementation and changes.
What do you enjoy doing outside of the office?
Cycling, kayaking, and home improvement projects.
When did you know you wanted to become an engineer?
In 5th grade. I had a drafting course in middle school that started me on the path. By 8th grade, I had picked a college and worked toward acceptance at Drexel University.
What is your favorite sport?
Hockey. I play and watch!
